We invite you to share in our journey of growth – literally! From the beginning, we want you to be a part of our dream to create an organic farmstead in British Columbia’s West Kootenays. And of course, an oasis for our sweet sister bees!
Sound crazy? It just might be…a little crazy is good.
We have made the move from the city to the most beautiful raw land we could imagine. We found 12 absolutely awe-inspiring riverside acres in the mountains of Canada’s majestic Slocan Valley. Honestly, we pinch ourselves every day to make sure we’re not still dreaming – and then we grin over the self-inflicted sweet sting.
Speaking of (bee) stings…right now, we’re hard at work on the orchard, garden and apiary fencing to create a safe space to grow everything imaginable to support the bees. A lush oasis they can call home sweet home. We are looking forward to the day when we will have our hives buzzing and will be producing our own honey for use in BDirty Co’s natural deodorants. We can’t wait!
Our adventure will no doubt be full of ups and downs. And we hope much laughter and a few “ah-ha” moments along the way, too.
Ultimately, we aspire to tend the land with great care and organically grow the most nutrient-rich plants possible to use in our line of natural deodorants, while we attempt to live an earth-friendly and sustainable lifestyle in our mountain home.
