How long will my jar of BDirty Deodorant Last?
Generally, the 70 g jar should be a 3-6 month supply, and the 25g jar just over a month’s supply, depending on frequency of use. LESS IS MORE. Test it yourself, as everyone’s body chemistry is different. Warm up the product by rubbing your finger over the surface until a thin film forms. Apply the thin film first and only if you feel you need more to cover the entire area, reapply. One application a day is all most of our customers need – try it and see!

Why is BDirty Deodorant not in a plastic tube like other deodorants?
BDirty deodorant is naturally antibacterial so sticking your finger in it is not a sanitary concern like many face creams and skincare products. Also, gentle fingertip application benefits your health by providing a daily lymphatic massage. Even better, if you have a tiny bit left on your finger after you apply, rub it into your cuticles to condition them. Two products in one!

Applying deodorant using my fingers seems odd to me. Is it sanitary?

I am travelling to a warm climate. Will BDirty Deodorant separate and make a mess in my bag?
No, unless like me you forget to tighten your lids – lol! Our 25g jars should last just over a month and are the perfect size for your yoga, gym or carry-on bag. The consistency will change in warmer temperatures, however it will not separate into an oily mess like many other natural deodorants. Keep in mind that in warm climates it will be very soft so resist the urge to use too much! A tiny dab will do!

Is BDirty Deodorant ok for sensitive skin? I heard baking soda is not good for people with sensitive skin. 
Yes! We have many customers with “sensitive skin” who cannot use other natural deodorant products yet love BDirty. However, even though our honey-based formula is balanced and designed to address baking soda sensitivity, a small percentage of individuals can still be sensitive to the alkalinity of baking soda. If you are one of these individuals try our baking soda free formula ‘Raw Honey, Magnesium & Activated Charcoal’! We all have a unique body chemistry and if you have any concerns from using baking soda products in the past we recommend trying a patch test on your forearm. A mild and tolerable rash for up to a week may mean your body is just adjusting to our natural baking soda product or you are using too much. LESS IS MORE! However, if the rash continues, is burning and intolerable, stop using it. Cleanse the area and try applying soothing Aloe Vera. Also, try dabbing on an acidic ingredient such as Apple Cider Vinegar or Lemon Juice diluted in some water. It will help neutralize the pH and help the rash to heal faster. Remember, do not apply to broken skin, including directly after shaving.
