  1. LEFTOVER MASHED POTATO MASK

Not a fan of leftover potatoes? Your skin is! Potatoes are known for clearing up acne, evening out skin tone and reducing the appearance of under-eye puffiness and dark circles. If you used a bit of dairy or oil in last night’s mashed potato masterpiece, not too worry – it will just make them smoother to apply!

INGREDIENTS:
Organic mashed potatoes.

HOW TO USE: Spread potatoes evenly over clean, damp skin and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and use your favourite moisturizer.

  1. APPLE CIDER EXFOLIATING MASK

Warm apple cider is a fall harvest favourite on the BDirty Farmstead. It’s not only tasty but keeps our skin fresh and glowing – polishing away dry skin that builds up from being outdoors in the cooler weather. This mask brightens the skin by regulating its pH. Apple cider also has high amounts of alpha-hydroxy acids that clear away dull skin. The oats help remove dirt and excess oil, the enzymes and vitamin C in the fresh lemon juice even out skin tone and the brown sugar exfoliates.

INGREDIENTS:
3/4 teaspoon organic apple cider
3 teaspoons organic fine ground oats
3/4 teaspoon organic fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons organic coarse brown sugar

HOW TO USE: Combine cider and oats to form a smooth paste. Add lemon juice and sugar – mix well. Apply to cleansed skin and leave on for 5 to 10 minutes. Gently rub in a circular motion to promote circulation and exfoliate. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

   5.  RAW HONEY & CRANBERRY REJUVINATING FACE MASK

On the BDirty Farmstead we love finding and creating simple ways to share the healing benefits of Raw Honey with you – and not just in our BDirty Co natural deodorant formulas! AND with all the leftover cranberries from Thanksgiving and the fall harvest it’s the perfect time to mix up this rejuvenating mask.

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup cooked & mashed organic sweet potato
3 tablespoons raw honey
2 tablespoons fresh organic cranberries
1 tablespoon coarse organic brown sugar

HOW TO MAKE: In a bowl, mix sweet potato and honey together. Add cranberries and sugar until smooth. Apply to cleansed skin and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Then rub in a circular motion to promote circulation and to exfoliate. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
